The Eastlake Wolves ( 3-1) earned their third win of the season in a shootout against their arch rival, the Redmond Mustangs. The Student body came all dressed in white, a perfect white out game! The Wolves exploded for 55 points in an awesome offensive display by senior RB Stephen Nasca and Junior Cameron Hunt. Each running back had 3 TD’s, and each showed their unique way of scoring. Stephen Nasca displayed his deceptive speed and quickness by scoring on a 60+ run down the left side on great blocking by the Wolves frontline. Stephen took the handoff and cut back across the grain and out ran the Redmond secondary for a TD. Cameron showed why he will be a great running back for the wolves the next two years. Just before halftime, he took a handoff at mid field with time running out and ran over at least 6 Mustangs before scoring a TD that helped the Wolves take a 28-10 lead at halftime. In the second half, both teams challenged each other’s defenses as they each scored 27 points. On the Wolves Defensive side of the ball , the front line of Timmy Xiong, Zach Nicholson, Derek Chaney and Pat Gallagher did a great job of keeping pressure on the Mustangs offense. The Wolves will enjoy their second home game in a row this Friday, when they play Issaquah (4-0) at 7pm. Story and Photos courtesy of David Payton
