The Eastlake Wolves lost their second game of the season to the visiting Issaquah Eagles. The Eagles came into Friday's game with a 4-0 record, while the Wolves were 3-1. The Wolves started the game on a very positive note when Drake Furcini hit Jeff Grotjahn on a 61 yard strike and the Wolves were in the red zone on their first series.  The Eagle’s defense toughened up and the Wolves settled for a 29 yard field goal by Kelly Rockey. The Eagles  scored on their only 2 possessions of the first half and led at halftime 14-3.

Eastlake had several opportunities to score but came away empty handed on several red zone chances. With Cam Hunt sidelined with an injury, the Wolves offense got a chance to use another weapon as Andy Marzano played very well, running and blocking all night.  In the second half, the Wolves couldn’t get any offense going and again came away with no points when they did get a chance to score in the red zone.  The Wolves take on the Skyline Spartans (5-0) in a battle of neighbors this Friday at Skyline.
